We care about protecting the environment because we hold our activities outdoors and because we are proud of the Albanian spectacular and pristine nature. We wish to continue to preserve it for future generations. This is how our leader Blerina Ago started with adventure tourism in the early beginnings as the v/president of the Albania Rafting Group (2009-2018).

El turismo de aventura promueve actividades recreativas al aire libre sin impacto en los recursos naturales, admirando la belleza de lugares remotos vírgenes. Los guías y visitantes activos de Albania no solo aman el aire libre por un día o un recorrido. Nuestro trabajo continúa más allá del viaje que experimentará, ya que participamos en denuncias, concientización comunitaria y días de limpieza programados todas las semanas.

Active Albania’s contributors with the team leader Blerina Ago, have been actively engaged in the protection of the Osumi Canyons from the eminent threat of Hydro Power Plants. But another natural water source is at risk: the Vjosa River, the last free-flowing river in Europe, located in the south of Albania, is under threat.
